BR, I've always thought about trying it but haven't gone forward. In my case, the Cytomel is such a small fraction of my total thyroid replacement I feel that timed-release isn't justified. I take 112 mcg Levoxyl and 5mcg Cytomel each morning. I understand someone has to go to a compounding pharmacy for that OR switch to a t3-t4 combo like Thyrolar (not sure if this is timed-release actually). On a side note, my dr keeps asking me "is the Cytomel still helping?" and I think it is (but much less dramatic feeling then the first few months on)...but frankly I'm afraid to go off it and risk getting further into the dumps, you know?
