Hey ladies, I would say I'm pretty average...not too thin not too fat, although in my late teens/early 20's I was very skinny before I was on any pill to regulate my hormones. They originally diagnosed me about 17-18, they saw cysts and I had high testosterone. I am about 5'4" and was about 96 pounds. After a few years of regulating my cycle I maintain my weight with or without hormones at 115. I also attribute this to getting older as well.
It's funny, I never had the acne or the extra hair growth I have very light hair, so my only symptom was the lack of ovulation, which never really bothered me until I started to realize the ramifications of it. It didn't really hit me what the challenges of this disease would be until I was getting ready to be married and thought about having a family. That was when I started the Metformin.
