I am insulin resistant but my depression was manifesting itself way before the symptoms of IR. Although I do think I began suffering from more depressive episodes that would last for longer periods once the other ir symptoms started. I'm being treated for both at once. I started having periods of forgetfullness and mental fogginess once the blood sugar problems started and I was more easily irritated. I honestly thought I was insane before I found out what IR was and saw my doctor.

Meds: Metformin 1000 mg daily, Prozac 20 mg daily |
