I'm Bianca and here is my story.
I was diagnosed with pcos at age 14. I was told by the doctor that I would never have kids. I was devastated by this and put the thought of having or even wanting children out of my mind. At age 18, I was told by another doctor that it may be difficult but that it was possible for me to get pregnant with some medical help. I'm going to be 20 in less than a month and am on birth control which has lessened the growth of body hair. I had tried metformin when I was younger but I hated the side effect of excruciating stomach aches. I also have mild cerebral palsy and a math learning disability but I have found that pcos has impacted me more than my physical disability ever did. |
