My sister inlaw gained like 100lbs in a year before being diagnossed and struggles to lose any weight her then boyfriend and now husband has been very supportive. My wife is up about 50lbs since our marriage 3 years ago and she works out hard 5 times weekly. she had a personal trainer who said she worked out harder than anyone in the gym guys and girls include as well as peopl in the gym asking how she works out so hard and in six months gained 2 pounds she eats healthy 1 greek yogart, 2 servings of fruit, a granola bar, 1 D&D's coffe (her treat but she cut down on the cream and sugar) !/2 a wrap (wheat tortilla, fat free mayo some times 1 slice cheese, and 2 peices turky or ham(now cut that in half)) and a reasonable balanced dinner that I cook and she always leaves some on her plate(high protien low carb/lowfat). guess what she still gained weight but at a lot slower pace she has just had her first wieght loss in while about 8lbs in the last year. It is a battle that we fight together any negativity and stress adds to your cortazone that can also cause weight gain and you ladies have enough stress without you husband piling on. I hope he comes around does research into PCOS so he can help instead on hinder go to you doctors with you and realize he married a whole wonderful person and not just a picture. You need his support or else you don't need him. good luck and keep fighting.
