Hey! Welcome to the site. For the first year of having PCOS I didn't really do to much research & I just took my Metformin. Once I really began to research PCOS I began to attempt to change my diet & incorporate more exercise into my daily life. I'm not very consistent with working out or eating healthy so I haven't lost much weight or anything but the surgery did help me drop about 6 pounds or so. Besides the hirsutism, which runs in my family anyway, I've been well. I try to remind myself daily of the foods that aren't good for me, carbs, sugars, etc. If you have any specific questions let me know.
