Hi Haley-Jade I don't know if it's normal to get period type cramps and then NOT get a period, but what I do know is that with pcos we sometimes grow lots of cysts. These cysts can feel like ovary or period cramps sometimes, at least when my cysts get larger. One thing you might want to look into though is heading to a dr. Have you done that yet.......how old are you? I got my period at 14 and it was here and there for about 5 years. At 19 the dr. finally said ok this isn't healthy. I'd say if it's past 2 years since you first got your period and you rarely get it to go to the dr. It's good to have a monthly period to get everything out of there.....I was put on the pill for this reason. My catholic boyfriend's mother thought I was going to hell, but I also could have gotten uterine cancer from NEVer getting a period either (stats are low on that, but that's why it's not healthy/my grandmother also had uterine cancer so that was another reason). Anyway.......the spotting could be your period trying to come...I'm not sure...Dr is your best bet and if you haven't gone to one yet try to find one that is an obgyn not a general practice dr. the obgyn's know a great deal more about pcos than the regular family practice drs. Does this help? I hope so...if not what else do you have questions about?
