Hi Angela I am also African American and My hubby Juan is Dominican/Costa Rican, we got married in February of this year. We have a 7 y/o son and, excepting another boy January 18th, I'm 22 weeks, and so far everything has been going well. I wish you the best of luck in ttc. God Bless
