1st acupuncture appt The appt went well. She went over my bw, charts and history, then she checked my pulse and my tongue and checked to see if i had good blood flow to my feet and hands. Then she put me on the table, and probably 20 needles, my forehead, ears, hands, feet and belly... they had a little prick, but didn't hurt AT ALL and then it felt sorta warm. I can still "feel" the pressure in my ears where they were but that's it... After that she tells me to get on Fish Oil (bought it at GNC) and gave me some chinese herbs. I go back in 10 days for more acupuncture. She said it could take up to 4 months to work. Also, she wants to wait for a few weeks to see if acu alone will get AF to come, and if it doesn't then she'll give me some progesterone pills.
My only complaint was today's was $160 (initial consult + acupuncture + herbs) At least we can take it out of our section 125 tax saver plan.
I like it, and will be continuing it.
