1st cycle of Femara- Need your advice!

So I am on my 1st cycle of Femara after 2 failed cycles of Clomid, it thinned my lining and did not produce any mature follies, so hence our move to Femara. Well I went for u/s on cd13 and had one good follie measuring 12mm and a 8.6 lining which is great since I have never had a follie over 2mm and last time my lining was 2. So the Nurse (Re was Busy) said that they would have like to see at lease a 16mm to 20mm on cd13 I explained to her I usually have 36 day cycles so I will probably O late anyway. She doesnt seem to think that I will O and was talking to me about my next step being injectables and to call when I get my period so we can start a month of BCP and then onto injectables. So the advice I need is if I am making progress on the femara dont I have every right to try it again If I dont get my BFP this time? Femara Cycle = $50 with insurance, Injectables= $1500-2000. I think they owe it to me to try femara again if I ovulate on it this cycle. What do you guys think? (sorry so long) I am staying positive that I will O no matter what the nurse says!

I belive that you have every right to try again. I have had 3 failed rounds of clomid and i will be starting Femera on my next AF. if my doc ever mentioned injectable i would say no becuase i definitly cant afford that. I hope you get the BFP cause lord knows i want one too.

Thank you for posting, I hope were part of the % of women who fail on clomid but get a BFP on Femara. Wishing you femara luck and baby dust!
