Default 1st day on Met...some questions

I actually got 2 different kinds from 2 different doctors , one extended release and one regular i think. I went with the regular because it was from the doctor who knew more about PCOS. Anyway, i was pretty scared but i did it. I took one 500mg with Dinner. So far, it's been over 4 hours and i feel fine, no nothing- i was expecting to be running to the bathroom from what i heard. I am just hoping this does the trick and i will lose all the extra pounds i had gained from PCOS. So far i did good without it ( 11 lbs within a month just from cutting some sugar desserts and some white flour but not all) so i REALLY hope it makes it all the easier to keep loosing especially that i just found out i am def IR.

Now what are food bad to eat on Met...i heard no really greasey stuff, eggs, coffee- anything eles?

Im wondering if i ate some REAL chocolate ( i been doing sugar-free but i like to cheat here and there ) if it will have a bad effect?

Like do you HAVE TO be on a 100% diabetic diet for this stuff to work or can you eat " normal" and it will still help you loose weight?

Now, do you think i should stick with what im taking if i have no bad side effects or is it always better to go with extended release for any reason?

ive only ever been on the 'normal' met, but im sure someone will be able to help. I try not to eat too much sweet stuff - or else i get Metformin Revenge,

I've been doing low-carb and barely any sugar (if I do have any its in fruits and gum). That has helped with both the side effects and loosing weight. Hope that helps and goodluck!
