I will be starting my first round of Clomid on Saturday.
when trying to conceive, how often should you have sex? I wanted to do it every day to increase my chances but someone told me that you should do it every other day during your fertile days because the amount of sperm will be larger. She said that if you do it every day, then there is less sperm per ejaculation, so doing it every day will ensure there is more sperm each time.
Anyone know this to be true?

Clomid:
**Round 1: Clomid 50 Mg, O'd
**Round 2: Clomid 100mg , O'd
**Round 3: Clomid 100mg, O'D and BFP!
**BFP on 6/23/07!! EDD 2/27/08**
**8/13/07 HB at doctor's office
**8/28/07 HB on home Doppler approximately 155 bpm!
**10/19/07 Ultrasound looked good, quad tests came back negative! (Baby's gender is a surprise!)

I'm going to be starting my 1st round of clomid as soon as AF comes . my dr said every other day would be best. No reason was given ..Sorry not much help!
If your husband's SA was normal and good, it's fine for every day, but you can also do every other. My doctor encourages every day, if you want to, but my husband's numbers are all good. We start usually around day 12 and continue until after ovulation.
My dh's s/a is normal and these were his directions to us. Clomid 5-9 bd every other day from day 11-21. I think most will reccommend every other day and when to start really depends on you and when you are taking the clomid.

The every other day protocol is as much for your sanity as anything else. BD'ing every day doesn't significantly increase your chances but if you and DH are in the mood... If your DH has sperm count issues then every other day or every 3 days is usually recommended. Truth is, it only take one well timed event to conceive, but BD'ing every other day is your best chance of getting the timing right.

we got preg BDing cd12, 14, 15, 16 .... i usually O 14-16
we started 12 ... then once i get to 14 i feel like "oh no what it there's not enough in there?" and just BD everyday until my temps confirm O ...
