AND I GOT MY AF........................ AND ALL I CAN SAY IS OW OW OW OW OW IT HURTS!!!!!! ITS A HEAVY ONE TOO. HE GAVE ME TEN PILLS BUT I TOOK ONLY 2 AND IT CAME FULL BLOWN (LITERALLY) LOL ITS HORRIBLE I CRAMPS ALL THE WAY UP HALF MY BACK!!! OW OW OW I WANT MY MOMMY LOL
Wish I could be so lucky as to have it come quickly. Mine is just waiting for me. I just started the med 2 days ago though, so I have a little ways to wait. Thanks for the heads up though. I know to keep my Extra strength Tylenol close by because I haven't had AF since November!

Let's just say I'm on Day 8 right now, and I still have it coming....I've gone through 50 tampons...and not regular, but super plus (from OB which are really absorbent)...I know that's probably TMI, but just be aware LOL
It's better to know what's coming rather than have it sugar-coated. Thanks for being honest. I just have to look as it as a necessary evil to get to what I want. We'll see what happens. 4 days down 6 more pills to go!!

2 Days On Medroxy Progesterone as well but my OB only gave me 5 to take, nothing yet and I was just wondering how long I should expect to wait for AF. My last AF was only 2 months ago but that is when I went off of my BCP. I have a lot of questions about the Medroxy Progesterone that I can't seem to find the answeres for. I read that it causes birth defects so I took a PG test to ease my mind before I started taking them, shoulde we use protection until I am done or is it even possible to become pg while on them. also is 5 pills going to be enough it seems like everyone else is on 10. any advice would be greatly appriciated I am new to all of this it is a bit overwhelming but totally worth it...I hope.
I had not heard that there was a possibility for birth defects. I would not think that would be right. It's really just progesterone, which your body does make if it has a natural cycle. I think you should be fine.
As for the 5 versus 10 days: I have seen a couple of posts from other cysters saying that they only had 5 pills to take as well. Maybe the doc its just trying to jump start your AF.
