I used to go to Dr. Cynthia Austin at the Beachwood office of the Cleveland Clinic. She treated me just for general PCOS management (periodic bloodwork, medications, etc.) and also for fertility. She is so awesome. Very kind, knowledgable, understanding and has a motherly quality about her. She just made me feel very comfortable and I could talk to her about ANYTHING. Spends alot of time with patients. I highly recommend her. She gives her e-mail address to patients so that you can "speak" to her instead of leaving messages with her office. She checks her e-mail numerous times a day, so I never had to wait more than a couple hours for her to get back to me. I ended up leaving her practice because the Cleveland Clinic opened another fertility office much closer to my home and I needed a shorter drive. Now that I've had a child and no longer have to go to the office so much, I may just travel the 60 miles to her office for the general PCOS management again. The new Fertility/RE office for Cleveland Clinic is in Canfield, Ohio (midway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh.) The RE there is Dr. Bryan Hecht and he is a great doctor as well. Very friendly, spends alot of time with you, and his office staff is the icing on the cake. They celebrate with you during good times and are right there with you through the bad times. I have to agree with Nicole about Dr. Cynthia Austin! She is the reason we have DS now. She is AWESOME! She spent tons of time with me on the phone and emails. She always made me feel a little better about our trek through fertility treatments. She was my personal cheerleader!! I have now moved to Oregon and wish I could just fly in to see her but airline tickets might be just too expensive....
