Thought this would be a nice way to start the new year! What would you like to do/achieve in 2007 ...........
I will start:
1. Want to get to the pool 2 -3 days per week to exercise.
2. Want to read a minimum of one book per 30 days
3. Do a scrapbooking class - or at the very least get someone to show me informally!
4. Really enjoy this stage in my boys life without all the frustration i have felt recently.
5. Lose 20 kg plus ( have had this on my nyear resolutions for the past 6 years!)
OK over to some of you!

Hi all - I haven't posted in ages but thought this was a good one. In 2007 I want to:
- Lose weight! ARRGGHH - yes, that's been on the list for many years!
- See a dermatologist about my skin
- Read more books
- Get more massages
- Finish painting my house
- Celebrate my 30th birthday
- Walk our dog Marley every day

OK, here goes, but I reserve the right to come back and edit this at will
I wish....
1. Have another baby, or at least fall pregnant by the end of the year.
2. Loose weight - der!
In reality...
1. Find a new job closer to home.
2. Start studying.
3. Read books about relationships and putting my new found knowlege into practice.
4. Enjoy my handsome little devils.
5. Be a better house keeper - hang on, maybe that one should be in the 'I wish' bit.
6. Fix up the house a bit and plant more trees and gardens.
7. Add more veges to my little vege garden.
That'll do for now. I've probably got a few more things to add the longer I think about it.

Wow, if all goes to plan, i think i've got an impressive year in front of me!
You all have some pretty exciting goals for 07 - here's hoping it all goes well!!!!
Another thing I really want to do this year is build a deck/gazzebo over our water tank out the back and 'do' the garden. It would make such a massive difference to our house. Before any of that happens, we have to get back on top of things financially first...working on it! Ahhh, keep dreaming Donna.

DD (7) - conceived via IVF (FET) after 2 years of infertility treatment
DS (3) - conceived after 2 years of natural therapies
OK, so I am finally back and I have had a think...
- Overhaul my diet... not on a 'diet' but eating for health. Cutting out wheat, cut back on dairy, cut RIGHT back on sugar.
- Keep a journal... even if it is just some random thoughts, poetry. I need to get my thoughts and feelings out of my head.
- Work on my self esteem. I think it has been suffering... the worst it has been in my life.
- Some quality 'me' time... I really need it.
- Commit to exercise - at least 2 training sessions plus more walks. It is so good for my spirit.
- Start TTC #2 (probably in the 2nd half of the year... and only if we manage to move )
- Get my weight right down before I turn 30 and start TTC
- More reading. It is such good therapy for me.
- Look into some serious self development... I feel like there are some blocks and restrictions I am putting on myself. Like I can say that I want to lose 20kg, but I do not believe that I can do it.
Good luck everyone... should we keep up a check in thread to see how everyone is going with their goals????
Great idea - i was going to post the same thing for days and never got to it.
As for my NY resolutions - i have read 1 1/2 books in January so far - that is one of my resolutions i am keeping! As for the others - havent been to the pool, doing ok on my eating plan but am still plateauing on the weight loss and havent thought any more about scrapbooking.

Have been having a good think about this previously (generally tend to do it for New Year's resolutions - though sometimes have problems achieving them!!)
For 2007, aims are:
1. Stop stressing so much! Provided both my parents can manage to stay out of hospital and there are no car crashes this year, I think I can manage this. I think it helps I'm leaving my IT job to go back to uni....
2. Pass my Graduate Diploma of Journalism with flying colours! I tried so hard to get into it last year and I got put on a waiting list. Made it to the top of the list and now I'm going to focus on the course! I'd like to write a book or a website that would be of use to women with PCOS in New Zealand cos it's been so difficult finding information over here!
3. Build up my savings - despite adding to the student loan, I'd like to have a bit more money saved up at the end of 2007
4. Lose 5kg - last years' goal was lose 10kg, managed that so hopefully this year should be easier.......
6. Not get too frustrated with my boyfriend for having up/down moments. Females are allowed to have these on a regular basis so I should be a bit more lenient when it happens with him every so often
