Hi ladies, well i have been dx with PCOS since October 04 while ttc. We tried for a year and a half with no luck....well due to the stress and hardship of infertility my husband andi divorced...now 3 years 2 years later i am getting remarried and me and my bf have decided to try the clomid thing... I just had my 23 day draw and with this draw i had a progesterone of 8.0 which is better than i have ever had in the past but still not the best in Aug. 04 i had a draw of 7.31 on 50mg of clomid the Sept. 04 i had a 7.5 and then on Oct 04 i had a 7.7. So 8 is good for me but i don't think good enoughto concieve.....i know i am on my first cycle of clomid but i had high hopes and now it all crashed.... i don't know i guess i am looking for supportor something i just feel alone and sad....

I'm so sorry that it's so difficult for you right now. I hate to hear of a cyster going through such a rough time. But it'll get better. Now that you are armed with knowledge, things will get better. Women with PCOS have children all the time. Are you on any other meds? A lot of women have had good luck with Metformin, if your currently not on it, maybe you should ask your dr. Welcome cyster!

You are not alone hun, we're here for you always.

Just in case it's something you want to talk with your doc about, I conceived on metformin, and the met just improved my symptoms in general (I had better periods, I lost weight, my hair didn't fall out in bunches, etc.) Hope this helps cyster.
