Talking Hi cysters!
I was on 25 mgs of aldactone per day then my gp increased it to 50 mgs. I went to see a "regular" endocrinologist nearly two weeks ago and she said that for acne and hirstuism a dose of 100 mgs is good. I take mine everyday and I have noticed improvement since taking the aldactone (even at the low dose of 25mgs) but now I have started to break out a little bit (nothing like before) as I have just started taking metformin and I have heard that metformin can cause this in the beginning as it "irons out" one's hormonal imbalances.
