25mg clomid Im just wondering,
Is it common to start off with 25mg clomid? Has anyone here been successful from that low dose?

25mg seems very low. I thought 50mg was standard to start with.

I started with 50mg, i know girls who've started on 25mg, and then worked their way up to 50mg and up. I'm going to say its probably your doctor slowly working you up .. Good luck

My dr actually started me with 25mg, which I have been taking for 4 cycles. The only reason we started that low is he wanted to see how I would react and he wanted to keep the risk of multiples down (twins run all in my family). This cycle was the first that I O'ed, but af looks like it is coming today. My doctor decided that my LP might be to short, so he has increased it to 50mg this next cycle and then take it from there. So for me I had no luck as far as a BFP on 25mg, but I did O this last cycle. GL!!

When I was TTC #1, I started on 25 mg and it didn't work. I got pregnant on 50 mg.

I'm on provera just now and when I am finished and get a period I get to start clomid. They are starting me on 25 mg as they are worried I will have multiples. Any luck on 25 mgs? I would really like it to work first go.

I also have twins in my family but my dr started me on 50 mg. This is my 2nd cycle. My first cycle I had about 6 great sized follies and this cycle I have 2, 24 and 26 mm. My dr called today to tell me and she said anything over 18 mm is great. Is your cycle on 25 going to be monitored? If so your dr should be able to check to make sure 25mg is working for you. If not they should up it.
My dr wanted to see if 50 worked for me and it did so she is keeping me on it for 3 months then she wants to send me to IUI but DH and I aren't up for that so we are going to take about a 6 month break. I just hope this month works. not sure if I can take another month of this....I think that sounds so weird coming from me because I wanted to try clomid for 13 months while I was only given Metformin and then I finally get to try it and in 2 months I am ready to be done with it
Hoping this is the last month we need it...

I was started on 50 I have never heard of starting with 25.

Hey looks like I have joined in late but I am on 25mg days 2-6 first cycle on it this month starteing the 24th :/ I thought it was strange I was on a very low does but I am really young only 19 (long story short need to convieve now or never due to other complications) so I think that is why I am on such a low dose also I have concieved once without any fertlity treatment but it ended in a m/c at 5 weeks so I think thats my dr's reason for putting me on a low dose, I am only petit so a multiple pregnancy I would really struggle with
