I agree with Ahydock, as we age regardless of our diagnoses our clock is ticking. The most fertile time for a woman with no fertility problems is 20's to 35 after than it slows so no doubt that would apply to us with pco as well.
On the other hand you may chose to look at this way. When younger we are just getting diagnosed with pco/infertility and just starting to look for treatments that fit us as individuals, so for some the older we get the more we discover what works with our bodies the more fertile we become.
Example: Me at 16 and up (and probably before 16 as well) completely anovulatory... Me at 30 ovulatory.
Even if your not TTC its never to late to start finding what protocols work for you
metformin, vitex, progesterone, spironolactone, diet changes and weight loss et-cetera
