Having a regular cycle does not determine whether or not you have PCOS. Some women have normal cycles, but still have PCOS. I would ask your dr for a list of your labs and the normal ranges so that you can see what is off and what is normal. Also, ask your OB to do an internal ultrasound to determine whether or not you have cysts on your ovaries. What other symptoms do you have? The tricky thing about PCOS is that the symptoms vary for each woman.
Also, even though your period comes every 39 days, your cycle isn't "normal" . . . a normal cycle is 22-26 days. Do you know if you are ovulating?
Good luck! At least you have a cycle!
