Default Me to

I have my 2nd treatment booked for Sept 7 as well!!!

ThinkThin98 I will know there are 2 cycters in pain that day. I will pray your not in too much if any!!

I noticed on my first treatment where the hair was really corse it hurt more and there was a burning smell. She said the treatments will get easier but did suggest 2 things for the pain. Take a advil or tylenol 1/2 hour prior to treatment, and do NOT get the laser done the week prior or the week of your period. She said the body/face is WAY more sensitive and that it will be almost unbearable. Not too sure if you have heard that.

Wishing everyone luck with their treatments.!!!!

I'm not sure if the person you are seeing for hair removal has done this for you or not, but my tech prescribed a numbing medication to put on about 1 1/2 hours prior to treatment. It helps alot. You still feel the "rubberband snaps" but it doesn't really hurt that bad. Be prepared though, as they turn the laser up, it hurts more...the only consulation is that there is less hair so it hurns more in fewer places.

Good luck to you, I'm having my sixth treatment on August 14th.

I have heard of that cream. Is it the one that you have to put on in a thick layer and it has to stay on till you arrive at the office?? I have heard and maybe it is a different cream, but it is white and like I say goes on thick and has to stay that way??

I used Emla cream & got it at Shoppers Drug Mart. You put it on then cover the areas in saran wrap until your treatment starts.

Next time I will take some tylenol or something as well before I go! I understand the rubber band feeling, but to me, it feels like a needle or something with it as well!
