OK so I got a PM from someone and I can't respond to her because I don't have 30 posts, but even when I post something my actual post count doesn't go up at all. Does anyone know why??

It is a 'security' measure on the board. You have only 16 posts left, it really isn't that much.

I would post on a few more threads and get the posts up. You can also post a message to her on a thread she posts on to let her know that you want to reply to her but cannot until your count goes up.

Ditto what the pp said about just posting on a few threads to get your count up. Also, your count doesn't go up immediately after you post. I don't know why, but it takes a little while before the system updates your post total.

i had the same problem when i tried to PM people.. you will get there before you know it.. that's what i did.. cause when i got ready to PM someone thinking i had 30.. i had like 70.. lol
