I was always under the impression that 2550mg was the max dosage recommended. I'm only on 2000mg.

My doctor told me last week that the max dosage is 2550mg. She refused to up mine from current dose of 2250mg . . . saying the added 300mg would help little.

I was refered to an Endo for more options.

Geodon 120mg a day for Bi-Polar disorder
Lorazepam 1mg for anxiety
Minocycline 100mg twice a day for acne
Ditropan 5mg for irritable bladder
Currently using the Nuvaring for birth control

3000mg is not unheard of but it's pretty rare. You might want to call you doctor and double-check.
