I was prescribed Aldactone today for excess body hair. I'm a bit confused though, looking at other forums it seems that this drug is used for women with hair loss because one of the side effects is hirsutism. But then other women have been prescribed it like me to get rid of excess body hair. This may be a stupid question but I don't understand how it can be prescribed for both problems. Has anyone had any success with Aldactone for excess hair? I don't want to take it in case it has the reverse effect. Any feedback or direct emails to
