With 2 months this challenge...I think I can knock off the 11 lbs and hit the 50lb mark! I'm gonna go for it. 11 lbs this challenge!

Okay, so my goal is going to be 10 pounds. That's just more than 1 pound a week. Gotta get my a$$ in gear because I didn't do well at all the last challenge!

Well July 4th is my birthday and I'd sorely like to get into that swimsuit I bought (I don't know if I will though.)
I'm gonna make my goal 15 pounds. I have been doing terrible lately and been stuck in the 240's since March. I'm hoping adding a bit more calories to my diet and kicking up working out will help.

I did okay during the last challenge (lost 6 lbs) but was far from my goal of 12. I think this time around I am going to set my goal at 10, since I have a little longer time and I am doing a boot camp 5 days a week. I know if I can reach this goal, I will fit into my dress. Let the Challenge begin....

hello everyone, mind if i join?
i'd really love to set my goal for 10lbs too. and july would be great since i'll graduate in the first half of july.
i've lost 20lbs so far and losing 10 more would be absoultely perfect but i'll be happy even only moving from this plateau weight i'm stucked in!

Hey everyone.

Well, I'm currently 1.5 lbs shy of my Cinco de Mayo goal, but things got kind of screwed up with my MIL being in the hospital. She passed away on Thursday so the madness will not end anytime soon.

In good news, Thursday morning was measurement day with my trainer and I've lost 19 3/4 inches & 9 lbs in the last month.

My goal for 4th of July is 11.5 lbs and at least another 10 1/4 inches. That'll put me at 35 lbs and 30 inches lost total.

Tensei, sorry about your MIL!

That's a lot of inches lost! I don't even think I've lost that many inches even though I've lost so much weight. It's kind of frustrating.

Congrats Tensei! I am about a pound away from the old goal.

I just got done doing 15 minutes of strength training, but I got bored easily. Finished it up with 45 minutes on the treadmill. I got the idea to take my laptop in the room and put it on a shelf that's eye level with me on the treadmill. I got TV episodes on my laptop to watch while I walk/run. I got some nice sound proof ear buds (because my treadmill can be loud) to use and I loved it.
I did about 2 1/2 miles and feel good. Not even tired or winded. My feet are a bit sore. I shouldn't have been lazy and put on actual tennis shoes. I put slip on pool shoes instead! Oh well. I still plan to get another mile and a half walk in tonight with my husband.

After that activity I'm hungry! My treadmill said I had burned 300 calories. Not sure if that's correct, but I don't count calories burned into my daily consumption in case something is wrong about it.

And great job with the exercise Sinnie!
I finally got myself back to the gym today! But tonight...ugh! I am just craving starbucks! I've been trying to give it up (I'm semi-addicted!) but with the 103-degree heat a nice iced chai tea sounds SOOO good! But the sugar content in those drinks is ridiculous! So, instead I am hoping my iced water and crystal light does the job

Yeah.. I almost ordered a pizza last night. I was so tired. I had did a stupid thing and went from 9am to 4pm with only eating a Kashi granola bar. So I was feeling sluggish and tired, especially after jogging 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill (I did eat a tuna sandwich before I jogged though.)
But still it had me feeling lazy and crappy. I didn't want to cook supper. I ended up putting breaded fish in the oven and opening up a can of beans, LOL

I am down 2.5lbs from last week. I met my 300 minutes of exercise exactly. I was wanting to bump it up to 320 this week, but I'm sore from it, so I think I'll keep it here for now.
God I hope I can get out of the 240s this time around. Seems this has been my plateau since February or March.

I just spent a weekend eating out and of course it was 90% junk food/fast food but honestly had no choice. Was out of town with our Girl Guide group and had meals included in our trip. But will be back on tomorrow. Plan on excersising this week! I'm determined!!

You have done such an amazing job with your weightloss!! I'm a true believer that you do need to live though and treat yourself once in awhile. What if you just get a tall iced chai tea. Can you have them alter it in anyway like use splenda? I've not had one before so not sure how they are made but I have a friend who gets some of her fave Starbucks drinks made differently so that they are more friendly to her diet/lifestyle changes. HTH.
