hmmm...I must be either a 4 or a 5. I have NOT ovulated just a couple times in a few years, so I'll consider myself ovulatory, and I do have increased androgens, but the jury is still out on whether I have IR or not.

See, I have only had fasting insulin tested. That came back totally normal within ideal range. But I have never had the glucose tolerance test. My RE put me on some met anyway - said it couldn't hurt, and a new study shows a link between met and egg quality, that it can help in dome patients!

Wow- this is great info, thanx! I'm either a 1 or 5. I can feel when I ovulate very well, but I have gone for months without af before.

I haven't had AF for 4 years except for one brief, light bleed about 4 months ago brought on by progesterone. Can anyone tell me what ovulation pain/cramps feel like please?

Thanks

Lin

I have no idea which I am. I've never had tests for IR or hormone levels. I'm seeing a new Gyn soon and hope he will be wiling to run tests. My last doc just DXed me by symptoms.

I have the weight (mostly around the middle and hard to loose) and hair problems, but not ovulation probs. Pretty regular AF, too. Which number would that make me?
