I have no clue if I ovulate or not, so i am either a 1 or 5.

I think they're your hormone levels - estrogen, progesterone........and my dr did blood tests for those.
If not, then I don't know what number I am lol

I'm a four. I've always ovulated (as far as I know) even when my cycles have been wacky. On the glucose drink test thingy I got 11 -- above 10 was IR (or something along those lines).
Interesting... I'm not sure what this is based on. I tried a few of the reference hyperlinks and they didn't work. Also, that table didn't have any references. Hmmm...

I didn't know that there were different types of PCOS. How do you figure out which one you have? I don't know if I'm ovulatory or have increased androgens. I'm pretty sure that I'm insulin resistant, and don't have diabetes...

Lab tests can be run, but mine came back normal androgens when I sure don't have normal testosterone, LOL. I am IR, but my doc said it was "a little high" not really high, so I put that I am #4. I figure I have increased androgens because of my hair problems and bad PMS/mood swings that went away for a while, but seem to be creeping back
