5 years with PCOS

I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 weeks before my eighteenth birthday. I am now 23 years old, weigh 300 pounds, and still have not managed to find the right method to beat this. I've tried Yasmin 28, Ovcon, and Metformin and I can't seem to stick to an exercise regimen (I always get really discouraged and stop). I've actually been a member of Soulcyster's for almost 4 years now, and I have never posted/spent much time on this site. I think it's time for me to get moving in the right direction. I greatly look forward to any advice you lovely ladies (or any gents) may be able to offer me.

Hi Stacy,

I am glad that you are making the decision to start moving in the right direction. That is so often the hardest part. I just got back on track and can say from my experience that once you start making the effort to move more and eat better foods, you start feeling more hopeful. I recently joined this site to find some support since PCOS can be such a pain in the butt to deal with. I'm new to this site and I ran across this when looking through all the forums. I too have been trying for 5 years to conceive our first. I've known I've had PCOS since I was a teenager but never got diagnosed until a few years after I got married. I too am overweight (obese) and the doctor wants me to loose weight before I get put on Clomid. If you want someone to talk to or even an accountability buddy I would be more than welcome to be that person. Just add me as a friend and send me a message!
