6 months post partum and feel terrible I feel worse now than I did 3 wks after delivery. I had my annual yesterday. The dr. is concerned about my hashi's acting up. Well the thing is I never really believed I had it. I was not faithful about taking my levoyxl and felt fine. When I was tested clear back in 2002 he said I was positive for the antibodies and that my tsh was 4.2. Anyway over that year I was for sure I have had pcos since puberty although it has gotten worse as I have gotten older. Then put on gluc xr, I was able to lose weight and my cycles I believe were starting to come back I got pg the first time in 6 years despite not using bc. with a blighted ovum and then 6 weeks later got pregnant again I just believed since most of the syptoms can be the same that I really just had pcos. anyway since I was not taking my meds and my bloodwork was coming out great all during my pregnancy and 6 weeks pp and I felt great I figured there was just a mistake and I didn't really have hashi's. Well here are my symptoms. soooooo fatigued and muscle cramps everwhere If I just stretch I can get one in my side or in the middle of the night get one in my neck, legs feet for no reason etc.. and basically an all over achey feeling. My hair started falling out and I thought that was due to being pp that has slowed down now so maybe I was right but I am talking handfuls here. Anyway I guess this is turning into somewhat of a ramble so let me get to my questions. I mainly wanted to know what are the chances that I didn't have hashi's at all? Do you think not taking my levoyxl could have worsened my symptoms even though it did not show up[ in the blood work all this time? Thanks to any who can offer any advice. I am awaiting the results of labwork that should be back some time this week. I know that will give me more answers but just wanted some feedback. I also started back on the glucophage but not the levoxyl.
Blessings,
Robin
