Default 6th miscarriage - broken

I just got back from my 7 week u.s. & they showed that I had twins that stopped growing at 6 weeks no HB. My insurance does not cover fertility treatment & the doctors I have are at a loss. I am just not sure if I can keep going through this.. I desperately want another baby but I just am not sure how much more damage my heart can take.

I am just not sure what to do besides cry at this point.

Sherlynn, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember you from the Oct. due date thread, I lost my little one too. I'm in a similar position as you, I have a son who is the same age as your daughter and am desperately wanting a sibling for him. Since TTC #2, I have had 3 miscarriages. I started seeing an RE after my second loss and had the repeat pregnancy loss testing and all came out normal. For this last pregnancy I was working with the RE and on baby aspirin and progesterone and I still miscarried. I had a D&C yesterday and they will be doing a chromosome study on the fetal tissue. I too am wondering how much more of this I can take, though I want another child desperately. I'm so sorry, going through 3 miscarriages has been so emotionally horrible, I can't even imagine 6. Many ((hugs)). I hope and pray we are both able to get some answers and give our children a sibling. I think that is the worst part, when the doctors can't even figure out why this keeps happening.

Stacy - thank you so much .. I know what you mean its the fact that they have NO idea whats wrong, I just feel like I am setting myself up for more heartbreak. Plus this is SO hard on a marriage. I am depressed, angry, always hormonal.. I just don't know

I am sooo sorry for you losses. I'm afraid to have a natural miscarriage since I am on lovenox & the doctor is afraid I will hemorage. Good grief.

Sherlynn-Yes, I know what you mean about it being hard on a marriage. Luckily, DH has been wonderful and supportive through all this, but I feel like I'm a basket case ALL THE TIME! Sometimes I wonder how he puts up with me. I've been so sad and depressed since all this started, I just want to be myself again. Part of me wants to give up and accept that I will only ever have one child, but another part of me can't bear the thought of never having another child. I know what you mean about feeling like your setting yourself up for heartbreak, I feel the same way. Getting a positive pregnancy test isn't even exciting anymore, it's terrifying. So anyway, I hope it helps a little to know there are others who understand what you are going through. ((hugs))

I'm sorry for your loss. I just had my 8th loss, and I feel the same as you. I want more kids, but I'm so afraid to keep losing babies. Not a single specialist can tell me why I keep having m/c. Every test comes back normal. Its so frustrating. I'm sorry you've had to feel so much loss. ((HUGS))

Sherlynn - I am so sorry for your loss. How frustrating it must be that they cannot figure out what is going on. Have you had any testing done on yourself? A very common cause for miscarriages is called Anti-Cardiolipin Antibodies. It is an easy blood test that can be done that is involved in the clotting system of our body. It is something that can be treated. So if you haven't been tested yet for that, you might want to consider asking for it. As far as your insurance not covering treatments, will they at least cover testing? If so, maybe you could schedule an appt with an RE to have a basic workup and go from there.
All of you ladies, please take care of yourselves.
