Default 7 weeks on Met

I have been on Met for 7 weeks, at first it was hard, with nausea/vomiting and the rest of the symtom. But with gradually bringing my dosage up it has gone better. I am now on 1500mg

Apart from losing 7lbs (my BMI is now 25.5) - it hasnt done anything else. It hasnt bought AF. Is there anything else I can do??

Do you think it might be okay for me to up my dose to 2000mg? Would that help??

My doc put me on 1000mg/day of Met, but told me that I shouldn't expect to see results before 3 months, and she wanted to see me again in 6 months. Although the first week I'm not sure if it did any good because I was so sick (so I'm not counting that week) It's been about 5 weeks for me now and nothing's happened that I can tell either.

It took me almost a year to increase mine to 2000mg due to the tummy upset so you might want to go slow. As far as bringing on af didnt work for me. I didnt "see" many changes with it but it did work as far as bringing my labs down. That is the main reason I started taking it anyway. So even if you arent seeing a difference it could still be working.
