9 more days untill my breast reduction. I'm getting very nervous about it. I go for my Pre-op appointment on Thursday. I have about 3 pages in my little notebook I keep in my purse. I just hope everything is ok. I know this is kinda of a stupid question but, have any one who has had a reduction experiance like a seperation anxiety afterwards? I'm kinda worried about that. Plus I ahve had this wierd dream in the past week where my dr is George Clooney and then he finds something wrong and has to bring in Dr House from the TV show "House". I dunno it was trippy. Anyway, I'm just rambling bu It's just some thought I had.

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
Best of luck with your op! I had it done in 2003, for me the procedure was a breeze, the recovery a cinch, no seperation anxiety at all. When you see how perky and firm those twins are the chance of missing the way they used to be is slim. I only wish I had it done even sooner!

Ditto, 100%. 125% on the perky firm part!!! You will TOTALLY wish you did it sooner. I did it 8/93.
Be excited!! Go buy a new bra! For after, buy a nice, soft bra with NO seams or underwire. You will thank me for that little nugget of advice later, trust me. Same with a nightshirt for the first few days after (buy it cheap, you may have to pitch) and buy the nightshirt a little big - you don't want anything tight. A little girl advice? Shave your legs the morning of the surgery. You will not be able to for a little bit (I had trouble anyway - my dh did it ).
Also - be prepared to sleep somewhere besides your bed the first few nights. You may have trouble getting up from a laying position. I did the first few nights. The first time you take a shower - face AWAY from the water - trust me. OHHHH - take 2 pillows with for the ride home (wish I had known). You will probably want to put them under your arms by your sides. I did it a few days later for the follow up, too.
More advice than you wanted, but there you go. I wish someone had told me this stuff. I know you are nervous, so was I. But I am a WUSS, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I felt so much bettter about myself I can't tell you.

I am so excited for you. My oldest daughter wants to have a reduction after she has children. She is afraid if she has it done before, she won't be able to breast feed & she won't take the chance.
Everything will be fine! You would be soooooo lucky to have a Clooney look-a-like for a doctor. Please let us know how things go!!! Yay for smaller, perky boobs!!!
