I conceived using 50mg of Clomid with my son who is now 1 year old. I just started my first cycle on Clomid again and am experiencing lower stomach and pelvic pain. Is this a side effect and is it something I should be worried about? I am ond day 15 and still no sign of ovulation from the kit, but I feel like my ovaries are going to explode!

I have no answers for you, as I haven't started my clomid yet...but I wanted to wish you the best of luck TTC!! I hope someone else can help, here's a BUMP..........

Hi! This is my first post but I wanted to reply to you because I just started Clomid also and just yesterday I started having the worst abdominal pain. It's worse during sex too, have you noticed that? I havn't asked my Dr. yet because I didn't think about it being the Clomid until I saw your post.

Clomid has done nothing for me except make my CM go away and it is making me mad!I probably killed all DH's spermmies with K-Y lastnight.I am getting really mad about this whole TTC business.KWIM? LOL! I sometimes feel like I don't have the patients for this so how could I have patients w/ a child?Anyway enough about me,good luck w/ clomid and I hope it works for you b/c I don't think it has done nothing for me this cycle.
I'm not 100% sure but I thought the ovulation kits dont work when you have pcos.?Last month was my first month on clomid 50mg and the only side effect i noticed was waking up alot during the night. I just got 100mg and havent tried it yet.
Yes it is normal to have abdominal pain because your ovaries swell mine have been doing it every month i use it i have been on clomid for 5 cycles and still no luck
i just finished up my 3rd cycle of clomid(100mgs) and yes,i have alot of abdominal and ovary pain. my obyn said it's normal because everything is being over stimulated.i swore i had a cyst the first month because it hurt so bad, but he checked and said theres not one.in fact,in 3 months of use,i've never had a cyst. good luck

Pain like that could be a sign of hyperovulation , I would call my physician !!
