? about BCP

Hey ladies. I've got a question and wondering if anyone could give me some insight? I've been sick (with the flu) the past week and during the early to bed, feeling like crap stages I forgot to take my birth control (ortho-tri cyclen lo), now there's break through bleeding. This whole week I've been having very small bleeding and next week is when I should start the last set of pills (that make your period come). I was wondering if instead of starting the green pills on Sunday could I just get another pack and start the white ones (that make your period stop?)

Just wondering if that will even work?

You can read the insert and see what you are supposed to do. Mine tells me that after missing 3 days in a row to throw the pill pack away and start a new one the following week. But read the insert and see what yours says. That is what I suggest. Hope you are feeling better.

I guess I'm going to try that... since this Sunday should start my 'green pills' that start AF I'll just skip that (since I've been bleeding for the past week! UGH) I'll just start a new pack. Here's hoping!
