Question ? about destress time

How do you ladies with children or other responsibilities find time to "destress" ? I work in a very busy stressfull dr's office and need some down time or else my depressiona nd anxiety get terrible! My dh will not help me with Hannah so if I don't have a babysitter after work to go to the gym then I don't get to go Please don't advise just leave her with him. That does not work. my mil normally watches Hannah for me after she gets off work but last wek and this week she has to work late. And now dh has offered to take one of his friend's daughters to the gym with us and our teenager. And guess what? This little girl drives me crazy with her smart comments, etc. His response to please honey don't t ake her to, I need destress time..... stay home or else get over it. Sigh. Please any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm no sure. I don' have any children, but I end up being pretty busy, between work and college. Right now all I can do for destress time is 20 minutes a day. I take the time just before I go to bed to write in my journal, or listen to some music. Journalling helps tremendously, and sometimes I go quie a bit longer than 20 minutes. It's just so helpful to be able to express my thoughts, even if it's just to myself. Later, when I talk to other people, I'm able to articulate my feelings better.

Well the past couple of weeks off work, I wanted to destress... but I think I am more stress that I ever was.... I try to chill out just by sitting in the chair, but I have a hyper Jack Russell that fetches toys to play with me! I try to find my chill out time in the bathroom, I've taken to spending ages in the bath with some relaxation music on... it works!
