I have seen a lot of people that are using saw palmetto to reduce their facial hair. I bought some today and I have a couple of questions. 1) The container says that it is for men, did I buy the right thing and 2) How much do I take?

Hello Michelle,

1) You bought the right thing because saw palmetto is an anti-androgen stuff and it helps men AND women but they do normally not mention that it helps women, too;

2) It is recommended to take 320 mg per day. I've taken 160 mg capsules twice a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

There have been some little side effects with saw palmetto but they are gone now because I take it only after the breakfast/dinner. Try to take it not before breakfast/lunch !
