I know you can get really cold if you have a fever because your body is trying to cool itself down, or maybe your blood pressure is low? I had the pain from getting mine out but I had them surgically removed not pulled, so I don't know if that is "normal" for pulled teeth I would think so, they gave me pain pills, did you get any? I would call the Dr if it persists for more than a day or so, and go get some ensure drinks so you don't have to eat. Hope you feel better.

My twin had this happen to her and she smelled like a christmas ham If it was just done today though it may just still be sore. Make sure you are making any sucking motions with your mouth. Ie: drinking from a straw, smoking, slurping liquid.

My Mood: Points: 2,152.40 Bank: 838.86 Total Points: 2,991.26 | I have a cautionary tale about wisdom teeth removal. I had all four taken out at once surgically due to severe impaction on the bottom. I had to go back to the oral surgeon 3 times in 5 days due to increasing pain. They used cloves to pack the spaces; however this did not provide relief. I had to go to an emergency dental clinic on that weekend due to the pain, and I was informed I had a terrible infection in both bottom holes. Thank goodness I went and got a second opinion so that I could be properly treated. Not to scare you (mine was an extreme case) but due to the level of impaction of my bottom teeth, I was still passing shards of teeth up to 3 months after the surgery. OUCH!!!
Hope you're feeling better soon!

When the doctor went to take out my left one he broke it. For months I would get a blister and I would break it open and piece of tooth would be in it. |

It happens all the time! Also your temperomandibularjoint-TMJ- may have been affected! Its one of the possible side effects of having the teeth out (you should have been informed of the possibility-at least I hope you were).
BUT if it is a "10" as you say, I would definitely consult with the surgeon who performed them BEFORE THE WEEKEND!!! They can place formocresol into the socket to help if it is indeed a dry socket. But it sounds more like a TMJ issue.
We see this all the time in our practice.

But I don't think it's uncommon to feel ill after having wisdom teeth out, even if there's no problem with infection or anything. After all, it is minor surgery and bound to be a shock to the system!
Are you feeling any better?

Do you think that's what caused you to feel so ill?
Glad your teeth are alright though.
