Yep, I hate them because they hurt like the dickens. I'll be interested to see if anyone has any suggested remedies.

I have had hard lumps there before... Like blackheads I reckon (can't see them so I don't know haha). I use a bobby pin and press. It gets it out but they always seem to come back... I know this sounds silly, but after I squeeze them and get it outta there, I put some of my acne toner/cleanser stuff on a cotton ball and rub it around the area on my ear. It seems to slow it down, but not get rid of it completely.

and I thought I was the only one who got acne there. the only thing I do different then what has been mentioned is to put nerosporan on it also at least it helps numb the pain some. I also tend to get them right behind the ear and on the ear lobe. Also the lump kind on the earlobe has kept me from wearing earrings.

Current meds are: generic verison of ziac 2.5 mg which is called bixoprolol/hctz for hbp.

Prometrium 100 mg was 200 mg but was dropped last year but is not working as well this for reg per. Can't take the pill because it was rasing my bp up too much which was how I was discovered to be hypertensiive

also taking spironolactone 25 mg for hbp but also the sideeffect of helping control hair growth.

My suggestions would be Tea Tree Oil. You can get at most mass market stores (Kmart, Target), pharmacies and nutrition/vitamin stores. It's pretty potent stuff and doesn't smell beautiful, but it's a natural cure-all for tons of things. Just dip a cotton swab in some and apply to the areas you want to treat. You can also put a drop or two in shampoo to help with dandruff control.

I'm not a doctor, just a person, but this has worked very well for me.
