My goodness that's strange... I just had one of these, too! Although luckily for me it wasn't full-on cystic, it was large and painful.
Did it ever go away Lepus?
What helped mine was a combo of two things:
-aspirin mask:a few uncoated aspirin mixed in aloe gel. Since this was kinda close to the eye I used more aloe than aspirin, kept my eye shut until it dried, and kept a washcloth with me to make sure I could quickly catch any aspirin if it should happen to flake off and fall. I left it on for about an half and hour.
-Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask: This stuff is way too strong for my whole face, but I use it to spot treat bad zits and it works great. I put a blob on the zit, wait for it to dry, and slept with it on overnight. If the zit is REALLY close to your eye you might not want to sleep with it on though, just in case. Mine was in the top/front of my eybrow.
In a day it had shrunk a bit and looked a lot less irritated. It hung around for a while after that, and I just kept rubbing Persegel 10% on it nightly until after about a week when it finally gave up. I still have the dang red dot though and probably will for the next five years or so (grumble).
Hope it's better!
