HI Everyone

I really really need advice from anyone who can help.

I am suffering from really bad acne, I always have been prone to spots but over the last few months it has got worse. I have started to develop big lumps and boil like things under and around my jaw. Sometimes they are so painful.

My diet isn't that great so that probably doesn't help.My doctor has put me on some sort of anti biotics but I am not sure what they are and they are not helping .

If anyone can ofer some advice please get in touch. I have been on dianette before and although that really helped my moods were terrible !

Hi Aisha, welcome to the forum

I use long-term antibiotics for my acne. I was wondering how long you have been taking the antibiotics for? It took a good 5/6 weeks of taking mine everday before mine started to clear up but thankfully it was a slow but sure help

Hi

I have been on mine for about a month now and no signs of my acne clearing up! My doctor told me that it could take up to 6 months for drugs to start working !!!!!
I can't remember the name but the begin with an O.

I am going to change my doc as I have moved - thinking about asking to be reffered to a dermatologist!

What do you think?
