My Mood: Points: 833.84 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 833.84 | If you've tried it all, you haven't tried this! I have tried every product on the store shelf and many sold at fashion cosmetic stores as well. The ONLY product that works for me is Serious Skin Care. You can find kits on www.hsn.com for reasonable prices. But buying individual items, you want to stick with eBay for best pricing. Always pick a seller with a rating of 95% or greater.
If you have oily skin, you need:
1. Must use Serious Skin Care Glycolic Cleanser.
2. For more deep cleaning, use the Serious Skin Care A-wash at night.
3. You must follow your cleansing with the Serious Skin Care A-Copper Cream to replenish moisture and control oil. (You can put your make-up on right over this product.)
If you need more help then add these to the above regimen:
1. Serious Skin Care Glycolic 3 Mask - Use 2-3 times per week until break-outs subside, then use as needed.
2. Serious Skin Care Dry Lo - It's a sulfur-based dap on medication that works overnight miracles!
Don't forget to take your B-complex vitamins, A vitamins and add some Spirulina and Chollera supplements to your vitamin regimen. One last reminder... drink your water and eat your green leafies and fruits! You WILL see a dramatic change in your complexion!!
Best wishes girls!
~Sheryl
PS: Wish I got commission or product credit for this!! BIG hint to any SSC Reps perusing!!!

My Mood: Points: 2,446.25 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,446.25 | I use ProActiv. I initially got the whole system, but now I use the face wash/scrub stuff only. The overnight lotion crap is a nightmare - it got all over my pillowcase and in my eyes. The toner is too harsh and made my skin red. I love this stuff but found that in my case, less was more.

My Mood: Points: 1,118.05 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,118.05 | I'm gonna copy this over here from RiceBunny's Blog Website. I use it every day and it's seriously a miracle scrub!
Olive Oil Sugar Scrub
Here is the recipe I use to make my Olive Oil Sugar Scrub. It is very good for dry skin and acne. Also, it helps heal blemishes too and retains natural moisture in your skin. No the olive oil will not clog your pores. Ancient Greeks used to wash their faces with Olive Oil and Italian women swear by this natural miracle product. Ingredients
3 tablespoons of EXTRA Virgin Olive Oil - - Must be extra virgin, not virgin olive oil or regular olive oil
1/2 cup of Granulated Sugar - I swear if I hear one more person asking me if they can use splenda instead I will slap a hoe! 2 tablespoons of Honey - Any honey is fine, and if you are allergic to honey, DO NOT use it! Substitute it with aloe vera.
Mix it all together in a plastic container with a lid (that way you can save the rest for next time).
The mixture should not be too liquidy, oily or grainy. It should feel mushy, depending on what honey, sugar or olive oil you have. It should have a mushy consistency.
Wash your face with your regular cleansers.
Then apply this mixture on your face, evenly exfoliating your skin. The sugar will remove dead skin cells and the olive oil and honey will nourish your skin keeping it moisturized. I say leave this treatment on for 2 minutes.
Wash your face with warm water.
Pay dry and treat and moisturize your face.
Your skin should not feel slippery or oily, if it does you added way too much olive oil. It should feel soft and moisturized. You should automatically see a glow in your skin due to the honey and olive oil.
I use this treatment everynight. It is very natural and light and works great for all skin types.
TIPS:
You can also use this treatment as a body scrub!
Leave the mixture in the plastic container out. Do not refrigerate it or else the olive oil will solidify.

Points: 314.56 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 314.56 | I had bad cystic acne a couple years ago. I overcame it by using clindamycin (topical antibiotic) and clenia wash, and also by getting regular microdermabrasion. Now, since I'm trying to get pregnant, I only use erythromycin on occasion, which my doctor said is ok and I still get microderm. I have very few breakouts now. |

I have had trouble with severe acne on my chin and sides of my face. It is a 3 step process...Cleanser...moisturizer...on the spot treatment. It cost about $20 for the kit and you can get it at walmart! Hope this helps! |

Points: 840.78 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 840.78 | I have tried everything under the sun for cystic acne....the clearest I have been was when I was using Olay dual action cleanser and toner. I just got some more and I am going to use it again (why I stopped, who knows lol) this time paired with benzaclin...which I'm not sure if working but I paid $45 for it, so I'm using it! |

My Mood: Points: 6,793.12 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 6,793.12 | I tried Proactive for the first time about a year ago and I was so excited to start it. All of the good testimonials, etc... it was convincing!
But, for me.... overall it was crap!! And now I hate seeing the commercials for it. The celebrities make me mad. Haha!! I'm seriously sick of seeing someone w/ a few tiny bumps acting like they had bad acne. Give me a break!
I will give credit to the cleaner since it exfoliates. But I've moved on to another exfoliating cleanser. The liquid toner or whatever didn't seem to do anything. I'm old-school and like toners that make me feel tightened up. The repair lotion was too greasy for me. It made things worse, I swear. I actually didn't mind the overnight treatment/mask, it did help some! Although the sulfer smell wasn't pleasant. But for the money, driving 30miles to the hut at the mall, or having it shipped - it was a hassle. I'm glad I didn't buy all of the other products that the gal was trying to sell me.
Just my story... or, rant! ;D

i have clindamyacin in a topical gel, as well as benzaclin where it's mixed with benzoyl peroxide, did you find the plain clindamyacin worked better for you? |

My Mood: Points: 848.69 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 848.69 | My skin has gone from acne all over with blackheads to perfection in three months, and here is what I did.
I take oil supplements, am starting to get my hormones under control, and use clindamycin and retin a at night, benzoyl peroxide with sunscreen over during the day. Benzoyl you can get over the counter, and it produces dramatic results. In three months I went from zits that were piled on top of each other and blackheads to--I'm not kidding--absolutely flawless skin. Make sure to also eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Benzoyl peroxide is really the most fool proof med, but it only controls the bacteria. You must have the hormones under control to control the oil glands. |

I started using these Olay products less than a week ago and can already tell a noticeable difference. They also have anti-aging benefits.

My Mood: Points: 228.75 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 228.75 | For my body when I'm breaking out I use Dr. Bonner's Castile soap (liquid form) with a sponge. You can actually see the dirt sloughing off in the water! You're squeaky clean. I use it on my face as well if it gets too oily.
Normally on the face I use Neutrogena Clean and Clear and Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizure with Acne control AND Diffen Gel on my breakouts. |

My Mood: Points: 715.28 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 715.28 | For the longest time I had awesome success with Mary Kay products - especially using the Microdermabrasion set and the Acne gel.
I went off the pill and several months later my face (mostly my chin) exploded. It will just not heal. Every time a zit starts to heal, another one pops up either under it or next to it. The last 3 months have been incredibly frustrating!! I don't want to go anywhere without make-up because I look horrible!!
I bought the Acne Free kit at Walmart. Started using it about a week ago. So far, so good. No new breakouts, and the problem areas are starting to heal for good. Not drying out my skin, thankfully. I hope this continues to help....
