Yes! I started it a year ago, and then stopped. After two months my acne was horrible. It was before being diagnosed with PCOS, but before the Yasmin I only had outbreaks once a month. I am about to start Orthotricyclin Low, and crossing my fingers that it works. I just got diagnosed and am not currently on any meds...
I was on yasmin for about 4 months last year....and I got a really harsh rash on my chest. I know it's not acne...but it was very similar and about 4 days after I stopped taking the yasmin, the rash subsided.
Sorry I couldn't help more, but I figure that these two reactions are related, so just thought I'd offer my two cents.
As far as clearing up the acne, I don't really know what to suggest, I've always been lucky with good skin. I know some of my friends used to use noxema or clearisil and they seemed to work....but everybody is different. Other than washing your face 10X a day, I can't offer much more advice. Good luck!!

Yasmin had the opposite effect on me. I had really bad acne for about 10 years and went to the dermatologist every 4-6 weeks that whole time and never really got it cleared up that well.
When I started Yasmin, the acne was cleared up within a month. I still have it mildly in the summer due to living in such humidity and sweating a lot but the Yasmin has made it so much better. Sorry you have had bad luck with it.

I've never had any real acne problems. I've never been on BCP's before. I'm starting Yasmin soon and I've read on these boards about how it can cause high-blood pressure, lowered sex drive, increased spotting, and now acne. Needless to say, now I'm a little freaked out about starting it.
um, yeah, had breakthrough bleeding the WHOLE TIME i was on yasmin. but, of course, everyone will react differently. after being on orthotricyclin lo for two months, i am really happy with it. it has cleared up my acne, and i don't feel like i have gained any weight (don't own a scale), good times!
