I just started this drug last Thurs. I'm not sure if it is working yet or not, but I'm loving the lack of side-effects! After struggling on byetta, this is so amazing. My dr. told me that this combination is a great choice for thin cysters, especially if they are not ttcing. I just wanted to pass on my experience on it so far in case someone else here is interested in trying it.

Thanks for the info! I just started actoplus met today. I'm not TTC, just control my BS and lose weight. I take 1000 mg of met in the am and the actoplus met in the pm. I've been on the regular met for 2 weeks w/o any problems, but haven't lost any weight.
