I just had a doctors appt with my endocrinologist and she is upping my dose of MET to 2000mg for the next 3 months to see if it makes me ovulate. If it doesnt she is wanting me to get on Actos or Avandia. I am a bit scared about it becuz it is similar to the drug Resulin which has been pulled off the market. If u r on Actos or Avandia or have ever been could you please tell me what u know about....what u think about it?.....what side effects?? Any info that you can give me would really help me out. We are trying to look at every option before we even think about going to invitro which would be the next step fpr us. Thanks

Hi, I have been on Avandia for a little over a month now and it seems to be okay. I am trying to follow a low card diet as well. I got Af a week after starting this medicine and then she came back for a 2nd time in a row. I am hoping this is helping me. I havent had any compulications with this... Try it! It's worth a shot.
