actos and glucophase

I'm on both. The max you can take of actos (45mg?) and 100mg 2x's a day of the gluc. I've been on it for a while now. My insulim levels are getting better. I"m still not ovulating on my own. So he has me on provera every month as well. I go to see my doctor in a couple of weeks and I want yo tell him that i want to get pregnant by may. If i ask to be put on clomid will I still take all the other medicines? What will happen to my body if I stop taking the actos and gluc.? Is anyone else on both and had any luck getting pregnant?

Hey! I am trying Actos b/c Met just made me sick.

Do you know how long it takes it to work? I tried Met for about 4 months and this is my 2nd month on Actos.However I did start to notice a change in that unwanted hair(if you know what I mean)when I started the Actos so maybe it soon give regular AFs...

how long have you been on the Actos? The only reason I ask is that my doc had me on provera also but I just stopped taking it when I started the Actos because I wanted to see if my body could regulate itself with the help of Actos. It only took a month for me to get my cycle with the actos but for some reason my body is sensitive to it so it works fast for me. It stopped my carb cravings in about a week after I started. Ask your doc if you can take two or three months off the provera and let the actos and met try to help your hormones regulate themselves. Let me know if you have any questions.

Actos worked for me too. As a side note, I tried Prometrium before getting on Actos. Get off the Provera and ask for Prometrium. It is micronized Progesterone and much better for you body.

Yes,I agree that the prmetrium is better for you! It is all natural,(suppost to be anyway)I always get good sleep on it.
