Actos and Met

My doctor has put me on 30mg of Actos to take once a day along with my 2000 mg of Met. We are hoping that this helps me start my periods. He took me off spiro and my periods stopped. So we are hoping that taking actos will help bring it back. I also have lost 11 lbs since being diagnoised with PCOS in Feb. I went from 185-184 so I am not sure if that is throwing my cycle off to. My question is has any one else taking Actos and Met together? What are the side effects? Did it help you with achiving a period and or pregnancy? All the information you can give will help.

I am actually on both Actos 45mg and Met 1500mg. I was still experiencing the same side effects as wehn I was taking Met alone, just not as bad. I took Actos in the morning after breakfast and took the Met at night before bed or after dinner to hopefully sleep through the side effects. My PCP has now prescribe Actosplus, which is a combo pill of Actos and Met. I really like this alot more than taking the two separate ones. I don't have the side effects as I had before. I haven't yet become pregnant or have regular cycles as of yet. I do feel better since I have been taking the combo pills.
