Default Actos and Metfomin

My doctor put me on Metformin last March because I'm IR. I stayed on it until August, but it made me crazy sick. So he switched me to Actos. I tolerated it much better, but the weightloss stopped. -lol- Anyway, I don't have health insurance anymore so I can't afford Actos. I can get Met for $4 at Wal-Mart, but it still makes me crazy sick. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can tolerate it better? The dizziness and nausea is just awful and with a three-year old to chase after I can't be sick.
