Actos Question

The doctor I went to see back in January ( I think it was Jan...) swtiched me from Metformin to Actos. I had been on Metformin for almost a year, and while most of my PCOS symptoms had subsided and my sugar levels were under control (I also have Type II Diabetes), my testosterone levels were still high. I believe the doctor said that it was 110. Plus taking the Metformin just did not agree with my stomach. So I've been taking Actos since the middle to end of January I believe. I was just wondering how long it took for anyone else for them to ovulate and have a period on your own. I took Provera last month and had a cycle, but I was secretly hoping that this month, the Actos would kick in. I've heard stories of people who had even taken Metformin for about 2 weeks before AF came to visit. Just curious.....

It took me about two months on Actos to get "regular". I was pg within six months of starting it.

I started taking it in November and in December my period came. I sat with crossed fingers in January and it came then too. Its been coming every month since then and about a week and a half ago I ovulated for the first time in years. (It hurt like hell) But anyway my doc just lowered my dose from 30 mgs to 15 because she thinks it was affecting my blood pressure. I had the same problems with met...it made my cycles regular but it was torture on my stomach.
