acupuncture TCM

Hi, I was wondering whether its ok to take the herbs along with trad meds. I'm having acupuncture 2 / 3 times a week and had herbs but stopped them as I was nervous about taking them. Any ideas? Caroline

I'd say you should ask your practitioner.

I've been taking some herbs (without telling her--bad KT) along with my TCM ones, but not many. (Vitex and a ayurvedic tea) I do know that one of the pills she gave me has dong quai in it (English ingredients were listed too, by latin name), so I don't take that myself.

Hi

Joined today. Have acupuncture every 1 - 2 weeks and am taking Australian Bush flower essences at the same time. Seems to have got me on an even keel again
