Default Is Acupuncture worth my time and money??

I want to start acupuncture to treat fertility...or at least make my cycles regular. But my insurance only covers 30% of the cost, which leaves me paying $50 per visit. Is it worth the risk of losing time and money to go forward with these treatments? I have read nothing but good things about Acupuncture...so I'm hoping it will work!

It helped me start Oing and get regular, but I changed my diet around that time, so I don't which one or both did it for me.

You might want to try the change in diet, because it is cheaper than the acupuncture and then try adding that.

hi! i've had four acupuncture sessions since coming off of BCP to try to ovulate naturally. i've just started my second period which could be the old effects of the pill or *hope upon hope* the real thing. my acupuncturist has been quite honest with me and said that she has had some successes and some women she was unable to kick-start their AF. i agree with Myjourney as well that you might want to try the diet and exercise route for a few months, even 3-4 and see what happens, but so far i would recomment acupuncture. also, it is a holistic treatment that aims to heal conditions that affect your entire body as opposed to spot-treating one or two organs/conditions. definately try the diet though because books i have read AND my acupuncturist said that weight loss can help significantly!

good luck!

Hi
I just started with Met 1000mgs and had 4 acupuncture sittings (70$ each) when i got my BFP.
This was after 1 yr of not having a regular period and 2 AF cycles with provera.
You never know wht might help, and i was desperate.
So it could be worth a shot.
All the best
